How to glue EPDM?

Instructions

1. Unwrap the nap roller cover and slide it onto the roller handle.

2. Put on the solvent resistant gloves and safety glasses

3. Open the bucket of EPDM rubber adhesive and stir the adhesive with the wooden stir stick for the time specified by the adhesive manufacturer.

4. Dip the nap roller cover into the stirred adhesive or dip the paintbrush into the adhesive if you are gluing a small piece of rubber or gluing a rubber seam.

5. Apply the adhesive to the surface of the rubber and to the surface that will receive the glued rubber. The glue must be spread evenly and thinly, or the adhesive will not hold the rubber in place.

6. Place the roller into the bucket of EPDM adhesive

7. Allow the adhesive to dry to until it is tacky, but not completely dry.

8. Mate the two glued pieces and use the seam roller to work the air from between the glued pieces.

9. Repeat the process for each piece of EPDM rubber you need to glue.
